About

Trauma isn’t just in your mind, it’s stored in your body. Negative beliefs, life-changing experiences, difficult relationships, or childhood wounds can show up as tension, anxiety, depression, or self-doubt. Using somatic techniques and trauma-informed approaches, I help create space for your body to release tension, process experiences, and move toward growth. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, depression, perfectionism, boundary struggles, low self-esteem, relationship or career challenges, or healing from traumatic experiences, I offer a supportive, holistic space for restoration and self-discovery.

As a holistic, person-centred therapist, I draw from somatic work, EFT tapping, psychodynamic methods, CBT, mindfulness, meditation, and polyvagal techniques to provide the approach that works best for you. I am passionate about culturally and trauma-informed care, tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs, because there’s no one-size-fits-all.

I look forward to learning more about you, what has brought you here, and what you need to move forward and see the changes you desire. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you with the space you need to discuss, learn tools, and grow. I would love to see if I am the right fit for your journey, please schedule a free consultation to learn more.

Position at Lavender Psychotherapy:

My Story

Immigrating to Canada at a young age from the Philippines, I navigated how my early experiences impacted my mental health while being exposed to Canadian culture. I believe that early experiences can strongly influence how we function in our present lives. In my own lived experience, I have struggled with anxiety, relationship issues, and career changes that have made a significant impact in developing my mental wellness.

My journey in becoming a therapist was nonlinear. Previously, working as an early childhood educator and education coach, I was lost and anxious about what I was passionate about. It was not until I participated in my personal therapeutic journey that I truly understood myself. As I continue to embark on this transformative journey, I aim to experience the world mindfully and understand that there will be ups and downs.

I have a deep love for learning, which I believe is crucial in my role as a therapist. When I'm not helping my clients, I am engrossed in books, podcasts, and development training. I am currently undertaking training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and have decided to begin the early process of starting my 200 RYT which I hope to integrate into my practice one day.
