About
Seeking therapy is never an easy decision and may come with fear, hesitation, or shame. Our time together will be a place where you can pause, share, and reflect on whatever challenges are showing up for you. Whether you’re navigating addictions, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma, career concerns, coping difficulties, 2SLGBTQ+ experiences, life transitions, relationship troubles, stress, self-esteem, or racial identity, I offer a safe, collaborative, and inclusive space for you to explore and grow.
I strive to create an environment that feels non-judgemental, empathetic, and culturally informed. My approach is person-centered and integrates a range of modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, somatic approaches, and trauma-informed and culturally informed practices.
Therapy is a journey, and you don’t have to walk it alone. Feeling stuck, lost, or overwhelmed shouldn’t have to be your everyday experience. Everyone deserves the chance to feel okay, heal, and move forward, and I can be an ally in that process.
Whenever you feel ready, I’m here.

My Story
Immigrating from Portugal at a young age came with challenges and hurdles I had to face growing up. Understanding my Portuguese culture and identity within the Canadian context was difficult and this process caused me to grow up earlier and make some hard life decisions that often left me feeling stuck. Turning to others for support helped me become more open to new ideas, ultimately helping me feel unlost. Through this, I also found the value in relationship, community, and connection, which I continue to hold dear.
The journey of finding myself and feeling happy with who I am took some time and effort but helped me see myself as the deeply compassionate, patient, gentle, empathetic, and curious person I am today. In my personal life I love to bake and cook, which I find extremely therapeutic, connect with family and friends, and enjoy walks with my dog.
