About
I am passionate about supporting adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and periods of change. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in exploring their experiences at a pace that feels right for them. I work with concerns such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, life transitions, and the impacts of trauma.
I take a collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approach to therapy, recognizing the resilience and unique experiences each person brings. My work is integrative and informed by CBT, ACT, DBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness, attachment-based approaches, Adlerian and psychoanalytic perspectives, somatic approaches, and trauma-focused therapy.
I am particularly interested in the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and relationships. I support clients in developing practical coping strategies while building greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional resilience, with the goal of helping them create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

My Story
My journey to becoming a therapist has not followed a traditional path. Before pursuing psychotherapy, I spent many years raising my children and caring for my family while continuing my education. Through both personal and professional experiences, I have witnessed how life's challenges can shape us, but also how resilience, connection, and support can help us heal and grow.
Growing up in a rural community and navigating significant family hardships taught me the importance of compassion, perseverance, and finding hope during difficult times. These experiences inspired my passion for helping others and ultimately led me to pursue a career in counselling.
I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely accepted and understood. My goal is to create a space where individuals can explore their experiences openly, discover their strengths, and move toward the life they want to build
