About

Are you struggling with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, avoidance, fear of rejection, career stress, or trouble with boundaries? Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them—such as people-pleasing, overthinking, emotional avoidance, or constantly fearing disconnection from others. If you're longing to feel more grounded, confident, and connected, therapy can offer a space to reconnect with yourself, build self-compassion, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is trauma-informed and integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and attachment-based therapy. Together, we explore how early relational wounds continue to influence your relationships, career, and sense of self. I support clients in understanding the protective parts that developed in response to pain and help access the core emotions and beliefs that drive patterns like perfectionism, self-doubt, and emotional disconnection.

In our work together, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel truly seen and understood. Through this process, you can begin to heal, develop new ways of relating to yourself and others, and move toward living a life that feels more authentic, empowered, and fulfilling.

My Story

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a teacher, working closely with students who were neurodivergent and often navigating challenges related to anxiety, self-worth, and emotional regulation. It was in these classrooms—spaces filled with both vulnerability and resilience—that I began to see the power of connection, compassion, and emotional safety. Over time, I realized that what I loved most wasn't just helping students learn—it was helping them feel seen, heard, and understood. That realization led me to pursue a new path in counselling.

My journey into psychotherapy has been shaped by both professional experience and personal reflection. I know what it's like to struggle with your sense of worth, to move through life trying to meet everyone else's expectations while feeling disconnected from your own needs. I also know the courage it takes to begin therapy—to let someone in, even when it feels uncomfortable or uncertain.

That's why I approach this work with a deep respect for each person's lived experience. My background in education taught me to listen beyond the surface, and my clinical training—grounded in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and experiential approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR—has allowed me to support clients in making sense of the patterns and protective parts that shape how they relate to themselves and others.

My hope is to offer a space that feels safe, affirming, and collaborative. A space where you don't have to have it all figured out—where we can slow down, get curious, and begin the process of healing from the inside out.
