Concerns I work with?

About

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, or other mental health struggles? You don’t have to face these challenges alone. I am here to support you by working collaboratively to develop strategies and tools that promote greater well-being and resilience.

My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness practices. These methods are tailored to meet you exactly where you are, adapting to what works best for you.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, which is why I prioritize creating a safe and trusting environment where you can feel accepted and truly heard. I strive to offer empathy and compassion, making space for you to explore your experiences openly and without judgment. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your unique journey toward healing and growth.

My Story

My lived experiences have informed my desire to help others with various mental health challenges. After dealing with my own mental health issues in adolescence and adulthood, as well as traumatic events including dealing with the emotional and physical toll of a cancer diagnosis in my twenties, I am passionate about helping people to advocate for their own wellbeing in difficult times.

My experience working in the mental health field for the last 5 years, as well as attending therapy myself has inspired me to create a safe space free of judgement, as I know how important a supportive environment is for clients to heal in a way that is personal and meaningful.
